ANALAC Interview on Sustainable Development

March 12, 2024

n interview I gave to Financial Nigeria Magazine:

Q: You have been advocating quite strongly a food-based financial system. Can we get to know more about Anlac Inc. which is providing the institutional platform for this advocacy?

A: ANLAC is a United Nations registered non-governmental organization that has introduced a non-interest food based financial system controlled by the masses for the masses and the environment. Our goal is to develop family businesses that grow organic food, create solar energy, and 3D printed products. We are accepting memberships at www.anlac.com. We have met with many UN delegations and national embassies. The common complaint is how do we fund the new sustainable technologies. Our solution is the non-interest food based financial system.

Q: What exactly is wrong with the existing monetary world order, which you would like to replace with the non-interest, food based financial system? And how will this new system work?

A: The world is using a fiat (confidence) money system. Such schemes always failed. People wake up and realize that they are giving away their food, fuel, and gold. The fiat money exporter becomes lazy and aggressive because he depends on getting something for nothing. All religions forbid interest because it is a trap and the sister of fiat money. Everyone knows money must be backed by something to survive. The most popular backing was gold but it is rare and not in the possession of the masses. Our system requires organic food to be produced for every digital dollar that is created. Loans are freely given to the masses and organizations. The loans are repaid with storable organic food without interest using our smart phone app. This food remains in the country.

Q: What are the merits of the monetary / financial order you are advocating, and why should it be a replacement of the existing system, instead of being part of the disruption in the monetary system which has seen the introduction of digital currencies and digital payment?

A: The biggest advantage is that the wealth of Africa never leaves Africa. There will never be a liquidity problem. The organic food stays on the farms and greenhouses, and in pantries and storehouses until needed. This wealth can be used to purchase locally 3D printed products such as solar cells, clothing, homes, and maglev trains. The only imports and exports of Africa will be ideas. It cannot we used to buy tobacco products or alcoholic beverages. It cannot be used in corruption or illegal activities.

Q: What is your operations like in Nigeria and elsewhere in Africa?

A: We have members in Nigeria and other nations in Africa working in the fields of organic food, solar energy, oil, real estate, finance, marketing, mining, and non-profits. Our goal is to create a sustainable east west Nile running from Lagos to Cairo and Maputo to Rabat with Nigeria as an important crossroads. It will use local funds, local labor, and local materials.

Q: Your themes broadly support the global agenda for sustainable development. However, what areas are critical for Nigeria to focus on in the very diverse areas of advocacy for sustainable development?

A: Sustainability means food security, energy independence, and manufacturing innovation. Home schooling the masses into family businesses that create the sustainables will achieve this goal

Q: How can the Nigerian and African media better support the propagation of your advocacy at Anlac, as well as the broader issues of sustainability?

A: Support the production and consumption of organic food, solar energy, and 3D printed products. Join us so Anlac and our members can advertise their products with the local media. Have businesses and governments make sustainability an employee benefit so their families do not suffer due to bad economic conditions.
